Don Pedro

So far I think that Don Pedro is kind, caring person, who thinks about others before himself. The fact that he wants to help Beatrice and Benedick get together and find love shows that he cares and likes to help others. It also shows that he has a spot for love in his soul.

Hero

So far Hero seems to be confused and unaware of her surrounding. I feel as though Hero is not a main important character, but the character that always get blame for things she hasn't done, and is the target for bad luck. The fact that she gets red and faints after being accused of something she hasn't done this demonstrates that she is a very shy and delicate person.

claudio

I think Claudio seems to be a lovable, kind, person who easily falls in love. His actions shows that he is a very easy going person, but also childish. In the play Claudio gets very childish when he thinks that Don Pedro is trying to steal the heart of Hero.

Benedick

"She speaks poniards, and every word stabs." According to this quote Benedick clearly has some type of feelings for Beatrice if hearing her words hurt him so much. "O, she misused me past the endurance of a block.   An oak but with one green leaf would have answered her." According to this quote Benedick shows anger towards Beatrice because she talked so badly about him to his face.This might be because of the incident they once had.

"If her breath was as bad as her insults no one would come anywhere near her, you could smell her to the North Star." According to this quote Benedick's feelings towards Beatrice is disappointment.

Beatrice

"Just, if he send me no husband; for the which blessingI am at him upon my knees every morning and evening.Lord, I could not endure a husband with a beard on his face.(25)'

According to this quote I think she is trying to say that if he sent her no husband it would be a blessing and that the lord may not send her a husband with a beard on his face. With this I believe she wants a husband but is denying it because the husband she wants is Benedick. I say this beacuse of the next quote below.

"He were an excellent man that were made just in the midway between him and Benedick.The one is too like an image and says nothing, and the other too like my lady's eldest son, evermore tattling."

This quote shows Beatrice true feeling about Benedick. It shows that Beatrice believes Benedick would be an excellent husband. But this is something she would never say to his face.

"What should I do with him? dress him in my

apparel and make him my waiting gentlewoman?" According to this quote Beatrice clearly doesn't want a husband with no beard. Because to her a husband with no beard is not of use to her.

ideas

Beatrice and Benedict are probably hate each other so much because they are so much alike, and probably because they always had a love, hate relationship. Another reason is because they might have had a conflict with jealousy going on that cause this hate.

Jealousy

I believe jealousy in a romantic relationship doesn't really means it's a sign of a problem in a relationship. It all depends on how far you take that jealousy. If jealousy is taken to the extreme then that is a sign that there is a problem in the relationship and it probably won't end well. But if jealousy is taken to the minimum then there won't actually be a problem in the relationship because it doesn't really have a impact. Therefore I think that jealousy in a romantic relationship may or may not cause a problem in a relationship depending on how you take it.
